Among the eleven are a former prostitute, an obese person, a homosexual, a person of mixed heritage, and other interesting individuals. The lifeboat may be able to reach a deserted island. The question is, which seven if any would a Confucian, a Taoist and a Legalist choose to save and why? This paper is extremely interesting and comes up with some surprising answers.
